I.N.E started from noticing how much good quality clothing was going to waste. There were so many items, including branded and more expensive pieces, that were still in really good condition but just were not being worn anymore and did not have a way of reaching new buyers.
At the same time, clothing has become expensive and not everyone can afford to shop new all the time. That is where the idea for I.N.E came from. We wanted to create a space where people can find high quality clothing at more affordable prices without feeling like they are missing out.
I.N.E is about connecting people to pre-loved clothing that still has value. It gives buyers the chance to find unique and affordable pieces, while also helping smaller sellers get more visibility and reach more customers.
In South Africa especially, a lot of small sellers rely on social media or informal selling, which can make it hard to grow. We are trying to make that process easier and more accessible.
At the same time, keeping clothes in circulation, reduces waste and encourages people to think a bit differently about how they shop.
At the end of the day, I.N.E is about making fashion more affordable, giving clothes another life and creating something that works for both buyers and sellers.
